It takes three of T'Challa's warriors to hold him down when he panics and thrashes the moment he's even slightly conscious again. There's going to be a lot of full hospital beds for a while. Fuller therapy rooms for a lot longer. They call for Bucky right away.
It's a pretty surefire way to calm the captain down.
