"Hey, be my guest," Jim says, gesturing towards the path. It's still adorable just how easy it is to make Steve blush, and he isn't even trying this time, but he knows that competitive look when he sees it. Hard not to, honestly. And sure, his own ego is probably gonna chafe so hard at seeing someone else showing him up, but he's not a totally selfish ass. Steve should get more outta this workout than just the company, nice though it is. And... hell, they're doing laps, it's not like he's gonna run off into the sunset, never to be seen again until he reaches the imaginary finish line.
