"Hey yourself." Unlike last time, Jim Kirk greets Steve with a smile and means it. Time and rest have done him some favors, but more than that, the fourth of January is done and over with 'til next year, and his counterpart is alive and well. His mood is worlds better than it has been these past few months, a glimpse of the happy relaxed captain that Steve first met at the Halloween party, before everything went to shit. It's taken time and he's still got a ways to go, but he's on the upswing, and looking forward to a proper workout session, not just punching his way to exhaustion. "Good to see you again. You too," he adds towards Sarah. Can't leave her out of it, especially when she's obviously so happy to see him.
