It's a hard thing to reassure someone else that Viatorus is safe when she's still not sure she understands why he was in danger in the first place, but she needs to try. Right now it's not his safety that's the issue.
"I… I don't know how to help him," she admits softly, sadly, as she withdraws her hand again. "He's not sleeping, and he's… distant. I try to talk to him but it's as if I'm far, far away..." She clears her throat and tries to look composed again, giving Steve an even gaze. "He needs a friend. Isidor wanted me to talk to you in person, though, to explain everything before you see him. She hasn't left his side since that night, so she sent me to speak to you."
