"Settle down, Buck. He's a friend of Adia's." Steve doesn't appear to chastise the bird, but he doesn't really need to look to know Bucky's sulking. He's always been wary of new people, especially around Adia.
The bird looks toward the kitchen and Steve's voice, then to Adia again. Excuse you both? No one okayed this with him. What if he's dangerous? His feathers ruffle in obvious displeasure.
Steve finally comes out with a tray of drinks and carefully sets all three of them down on the coffee table.
"Help yourselves, there's plenty to go around. I'll join in just a second." He's gotta dice up one of those fresh fruits for pokemon treats. Hopefully that'll soothe any bruised egos.
