Truthfully, Steve keeps the place really clean already but with three pokemon there's always something he could tidy up again so he'll have plenty to do over the next few days. He takes down the corner training area so he can move the pokemons' beds over there and give them a safe spot to hide in if they need to get away from the activity.
It's never been a problem before but Steve hasn't met this guy and figures a bit of caution can't hurt.
