"It's a holiday back home today." Steve says quietly, holding onto the small cooler Amelia had given him. "The anniversary of the founding of our nation. I was more...homesick about that than I was being alone on my birthday."
He chuckles slightly.
"It just drove home that I'm not there. I'm not there and there doesn't exist anywhere here in the Nexus."
