No one can be fully trusted. Everyone is suspect. But Steve... he's a friend. With him, she feels safe. She always has. It cuts through her paranoia, allows her a single moment of clarity to answer.

All of her weapons are gathered and belted, then she pulls on her neck wrap from Verity and her cloak. She throws her hair up again and then pulls the hood of her cloak down. Her hands begin shaking as she turns back to Steve. Part of her wants to ask where they're going, but she's afraid she won't follow if she does. Her voice shakes as she says, "Let's go."
